يقسم ستة أقسام: ثلاثة للنبي صلى الله عليه وآله وهي: سهم الله، وسهم رسوله، وسهم ذي القربى، وهو الامام وبعده للامام القائم مقامه.
وثلاثة: للايتام والمساكين وأبناء السبيل: وقيل: بل يقسم خمسة أقسام، والاول أشهر.
